This one hit me hard, Belle. Letting go really does feel like a war, especially when it comes to family, addiction, or the parts of life we poured our whole hearts into. I felt every word of that fight you described.

What you wrote reminded me that letting go isn’t giving up… it’s finally putting down what was never ours to carry. It’s choosing peace over control, even when it feels like loss.

Thank you for saying it so clearly. I needed this today.

I appreciate the talking about the messiness and complexity of letting go. The different parts of us having something to say about it, maybe creating layers of additional inner tension to then explore.

‘There comes a quiet day in your life when you finally stop fighting for things that were never meant to stay.’ To me this sounds like inner knowing, connection to Self, calm clarity, which so many of us can spend years turning away from for various reasons. But when we’re willing, able, brave, or still enough… it’s there. Thank you.
