As someone undergoing CBT and also recovery coaching others, I say kudos on CBT.. and yes, when I feel like I want to whine or have some idea of just giving up, I "CBT that shit" as well. I found it helped me reframe pessimistic attitudes and focus on getting back to stable.

Thank you so much for sharing this—and for the laugh! “CBT that shit” needs to be on a t-shirt, honestly. I’m right there with you: sometimes the brain just wants to spiral or throw a pity party, and it takes real work (and a little stubbornness) to hit pause and reframe things.

It’s awesome to hear that CBT has helped you both personally and in your work coaching others. Reframing those old, pessimistic attitudes isn’t easy, but it’s so worth it for a little more stability and sanity. Always glad to be in good company on this journey.
