🌟 Introduction to the 7-Day Messy Progress Challenge 🌟
Hey, it’s Belle here — welcome to the 7-Day Messy Progress Challenge inside Progress is Progress Coaching.
This isn’t another polished “30-day transformation” where you’re supposed to wake up motivated, hit every goal, and post filtered before-and-afters.
This challenge is for the real stuff — the days when recovery (or supporting someone in it) feels brutal, slow, ugly, or like you’re barely moving. When shame tries to convince you your small steps don’t count, or one setback means you’ve failed completely.
Here’s what the challenge actually is: For the next 7 days, we show up exactly as we are — no filters, no perfection, no pretending we’ve got it all together.
Each day focuses on one honest piece of the journey:
1️⃣ Welcome & Set Intentions — Naming what “progress” really means to you
2️⃣Celebrate Tiny Wins — Giving credit to the millimeter moments that matter
3️⃣ Face the Shame, Don’t Feed It — Calling out shame instead of letting it run the show
4️⃣ Accept the Setbacks — Learning to stumble without erasing the good
5️⃣ Find Your Strength in Connection — Remembering you don’t have to carry this alone
6️⃣ Redefine What Progress Means for You — Owning your own definition, not anyone else’s
7️⃣ Reflect & Commit to Next Steps — Celebrating shifts and choosing a gentle next step
Each day includes:📝 A short reflection prompt to share📓 A journal prompt for deeper honesty🧘♀️ A quick 3–7 min mindfulness practice💬 A real-talk story from someone who’s been there🎥 Optional short video or resource
The only rules?
✨ Show up as you are (some days that means just reading and breathing)
✨ Be kind to yourself and others in the comments
✨ Celebrate messy, imperfect progress — because progress is progress, mile or millimeter
This challenge will help you:🚪 Leave shame at the door🏆 Notice and stack tiny wins🤝 Build real connection in a safe space🛠️ Walk away with tools and a kinder relationship with your recovery
Start today, tomorrow, or whenever you’re ready. Just jump in and post “I’m in” or share your Day 1 reflection. We’ll cheer you on, reply honestly, and remind each other we’re not alone.
Here for yourself, a loved one, or just tired of “just stay positive” recovery talk that never fits? You’re in the right place.

Day 1. We’re over 70 strong because we keep it real.
